“Its Sven”, he answered in a cool voice. “Oh dont worry about the laptop it was free and I have another at home.” He looked down at his feet a started swinging them slightly. He studied the grass and its movements. “Its lovely isnt it” He said relaxed. “The way the flowers move with the wind. The sit there motionless growing until they bloom. Then wait for the wind to carry away their children.” He paused closing his eyes. “They say if you close your eyes and listen you can hear them sing.” He started listening now. His body relaxed and his arms stopped being sore.
Gazing at him in wondrous surprise, Nina smiled at his words. They were so poetic that they brought joy to her heart. She liked seeing things in a different perspective, especially when it all sounded to magical. Despite feeling a bit weird about doing so, she closed her eyes & listened. “That was wonderful,” she murmured whilst looking at the flowers through half-lidded eyes.
Sven smiled he never had anyone compliment his poetic side(What little there was) He hummed softly to the sounds of the wind. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at his watch. His class was going to start in alittle bit and knowing himself he would take the longest route possible. He got up and yawned grabbing his laptop. “This has been nice. I need to go now. We should sit next to each other again”, He said lying. The chances of him searching her out just to sit on a bench were next to none. “Oh darn, I didnt get to feel the rain” He started to walk forward waving goodbye when it started raining. Hmm he just shared his poetry with a human he thought as he walked off.
“Ah, all right. See you later, then,” Nina waved at him, a small smile drifting on her lips. She sighed when it started raining, loving the feeling of cold droplets against her skin. Her stress slowly lifted, that she could feel physically as if a boulder was being removed. & despite wanting to stay there, she knew that she had to go inside for classes. She had missed too many days already. So, with reluctance, she got up & walked off to one of the buildings.
Sven walked into class relaxed and cool. Mr. Stein gritted his teeth when he sat down. This made Sven happy, why should the teacher care if im absent he still gets his fat paycheck. He sat in an empty sit near the back of the room. He pulled out his laptop which managed to survive and started going over his notes in case there was going to be a test. German history isnt his favorite so he mostly sleeps and lets his computer record the teachers lecture.
Sitting in her class room, Nina looked out the window. She didn’t bother taking out her books, for she knew that they would get wet thanks to her dripping hair. So, she simply sat there whilst listening to the teacher & taking occasional glances at the rain that fell outside. She couldn’t wait for class to finish. She only had two today, which she saw as a blessing.
Sven rushed outta class before the techer could catch him. It was lunch time for him so he went to the cafe and grabbed a muffin. He headed toward the bench hoping for another chance encounter. As he rounded the corner he saw no one. He ploped down and began eating his muffin enjoying the humidity.
“Boo,” Nina whispered to Sven’s ear after sneaking up behind him. “I knew you’d be here.” With a playful smile, she walked over to the front of the bench & sat down. She very much enjoyed the time she had outside of class, for college seemed rather pointless to her at the moment. In turn, she couldn’t wait for her last class to be over so she could go back home… or somewhere else that was a lot more tranquil.
“Ahh!” he fake yelled. He laughed alittle as Nina sat down. He studied her expression and took a bite of his muffin. He nudge her about to ask her if she wanted some. When he did so he felt she was very warm. He put his muffin down and put his hand on her forehead. “I think you are running a fevor” he put his hand down and studied her expression.
“Mm…?” Blushing brightly, Nina looked over to the side with a stubborn look on her face. She hadn’t expected him to get so close, she was caught off guard. The pink hue on her cheeks didn’t help the situation, however, & she knew that she was getting warmer than she was already. It had become so normal for her that she never truly wondered what other people might think about her body temperature. “Oh, umm… no, I’m just a little w-warm, that’s all.”
“Alittle warm? Most humans dont make others sweat when they are in contact” he pulled up the few droplets that had formed. He looked at her and smirked. He leaned back alittle and laugh alittle to himself. “why did you blush?” being as cool as possible. He ran his hand across the bangs of his hair. His expression relaxed.
Silently, Nina though of what to say. But what was there besides denial, denial, denial? The option of confessing who she really was—what she really was—wasn’t at all there. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she muttered whilst continuing to look away stubbornly, her blush ironically still there. “I didn’t blush.”
Sven knew instantly what she was. He smirked wanting to have fun with this. He lifted his hand and put it on her cheek and put his face close to hers. “you’re pretty cute you know that” he said in his seductive voice. “maybe you are warm because of me” a fox grin began to form he was close enough to kiss her. He cant wait for her answer. Staring into her eyes.
Surprised, Nina stared at him almost innocently. She didn’t understand why he was acting that way around her, especially when they had barely met. “I d-don’t… u-um,” she stuttered as her heart beat quickly against her chest, his charm getting the best of her.
He inched closer to her. “Im close enough to kiss you. We just met and im this close. What if I do kiss you?” he loved how the acting classes were paying off. He brushed some hair outta her eyes shifting his body to face hers.
