ooc: impossible for you to run the entire thing btw….lets say you ran to end of the first half >.> This place i imagined goes on in both directions for at least 3 miles one way and 4 miles the other way >.> (I know its huge; but its meant to be that big) and…..-.-
Zaku reached the half way point, the area that everyone was supposed to stop, they had ran for at least 7 miles, the instructor was ahead of htem the entire time, and everyone who had kept up with him, he smiled and laughed and congrutlated them and that they might skip this beginners running course. Zaku was breathing heavily however, using his wind magic for so long tired him out, probably tired him out mentally more then physically however, and at times he lost control of his wind speed, and had to run till he was able to focus once again. When his roomate ran up, along with a girl beside him he just looked away, it annoyed him he found a girl and was friends with her already and it hadn’t even been 24 hours yet.
OOC: I wasn’t sure how big it was in your mind xD we imagined it the same then. I’m too lazy to edit though LOL but if it’s seven miles… then it would take at least eight minutes per mile and that adds up to nearly an hour. So Tokeke and Saisha took about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Tokeke and Saisha listened to the coach until he was done ranting about the run and all that other nonsense that no one could really listen to just then anyway. Saisha did however stand straight up with her hands behind her head to catch her breath. Once he said they could go, everyone walked toward the cafeteria which wasn’t too far away. The two began their conversation again, “Well I hope that you two get along soon.”
“Yeah,” Tokeke agreed, “Me too. We’re going to be fighting together so he better start talking or something otherwise we won’t have any teamwork.”
Zaku followed behind them, well directly 5 people behind them, it annoyed him that they were talking about him. He put his hands in his pocket, he wanted to use his wind speed to push them, maybe knock off his hat. When he entered the cafeteria he had no idea what to do. So he followed everyone closely, looking out of place, like anybody who didn’t know what the heck they were doing. He grabbed a tray and followed the line, no choice of food however, as they were given stuff he never recongized before. He was use to eating corn with some beans and meat or some kind of soup. He sighed as he walked with unedible stuff and took a place in the corner away from everyone, but the table was aganist a window so instead of eating he looked out the window for some time.
Tokeke had been laughing with Saisha and some other people when he saw Zaku at a table alone, strange that no one sat with him, he must’ve looked strange to others or something. “Saisha, I’m gonna go see what’s up with Zaku alright?” She looked behind her and noticed him before nodding to Tokeke and continuing a conversation with the rest of the group. They all half-whinned that he was leaving but didn’t bother him too much. He had left his, now empty, food tray at the table without really thinking about it and walked over to Zaku, “Is this seat taken?” Before the boy could respond, he had already sat down, “I’m looking forward to fighting with you, you know.”
Zaku looked at his roomate and stared at him, after he said what he had to say he ignored him and looked back out the window, his food still untouched.
Tokeke sighed, “It’s impossible to ignore me forever.” Instead of saying anything more, he decided to stare at the boy without speaking. Eye for an eye right? And treat others the way you want to be treated. Maybe the silence would eventually get him to talk, it certainly made most people in the world feel nervous. This was all reverse psychology though, something his father had taught him when he was younger..
Zaku didn’t even look at him, however he felt his presence still their, it annoyed him so he looked back at him. He was staring at him, Zaku was slightly confused, this guy had been trying to talk to him since the day they meet, so why did he suddenly decide to shut up now? He thought as the silence and staring annoyed him further. He closed his eyes in frustrated, “Fine what do you want?” he said realizing that the boy wanted a response from him.
“I just want to talk, it’s going to be hard if you’re not friends with your partner in crime, ya?” He almost smirked, “Beside, I’m not asking you to make friends with everyone on campus or anything.” Tokeke tilted his head a little to stare at Zaku’s eyes, he liked that color of blue, most people in his town had either brown or green eyes, never any other; it was nice to see something new.
ooc: He has brown hair and blue eyes to everyone else, but Zaku see’s his hair and eyes differently at times
Zaku just shook his head, “If you don’t get in my way we are good right?” he said, “I don’t need to parnter up with someone who can’t even control fire, other then in the palm of his hand” he said slightly annoyed with eyes closed, “Leave me be….when the time comes for us to fight, I’m sure I’ll be able to handle it” he was acting tough and cocky, he had never been in a fight once, he actually hated it, and he didn’t know why. Same with his high and mighty attitude he would occassionaly get sort of like right now. “Now let me be…I have a lot to think about” he looked out the window again…ignoring the boy.
“A lot to think about my ASS!” Tokeke said a little too loudly, though no one really noticed, “I’ll have you know that my Break spells could beat just about anyone here! As if I’d let you fight every battle on your own!” He didn’t move, he wanted Zaku to know that he would sit there until there was a reply or he walked off, and if it was the latter, then Tokeke would follow.
Saisha glanced over to the two seeing what was going on, apparently Zaku had been staring out the window. Tokeke was talking though, maybe the other boy would listen to him? She hoped he would, her and her partner, Claire were getting along nicely and a lot of other people were as well. I wonder what’s so different with him, she thought to herself.
Zaku was amuzed he got him made, but he let it go, its excatly what he wanted, he looked at him, with calm clear eyes, “Listen closely…I don’t care about you, I don’t care if you live or die, so just stay out of my way, or I might accidently hurt you” he said getting up from the table this time, “I don’t want to fight’ he simply said, “If we fight, we get in trouble” he added to what he said, and then turned around and walked towards some of the guards stationed at the cafeteria area, who were obviously their watching both him and his roomate.
“He obviously didn’t understand what I meant, did he?” Tokeke said to himself, Saisha had sat down where Zaku once was and frowned.
“I guess not..”
Tokeke looked to her, “You were listening to us?” She responded with a no and started a new conversation to make him feel better. He didn’t really feel like it right then though; swordsmanship was next right? That would be fun, he didn’t really know how to use a weapon, but it would be fun to try.
OOC: You know what I realized? We didn’t even really use weapons in the old story LOL we’re gonna have to change that LOL
ooc: U never gave me a chance to use swords 0.0 u were like ‘I’M C HARING MY FIREBALL!!!!!!” BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS RAINING ICE AND FIRE HOLY CRAP! lmao xD
Zaku looked at the two guards, to see if they would stop them, but they just stared at him, and did nothing, which wasn’t a good sign at all. When he saw that the boy didn’t follow him, he left the cafeteria to wonder around, but one of the guards yelled, “Where are you going?” Zaku turned around with a smile on his face, “I’m going to look around is that ok?” he said picking up on what his roomate did earlier. The guard nodded, “Your class starts in 15 minutes, don’t wonder to far” he simply said and zaku gave a slight bow, “Thank you!” and he turned around frowning, I hope that there isn’t more to this then meets the eye.
After discussing what happened, Saisha stood up out of her seat, “Then why didn’t you follow him?!”
Mouth falling open, he replied, “Zaku is the kind of guy who needs his space alright? I’ll just leave him alone for awhile..”
“No. You. Won’t! Nothing will get accomplished that way! You have to show him that you actually care or something. He doesn’t want to be friends with an average person, he needs someone unique!”
“You think?” She just put her hands to her hips and glared, “Alright fine. I’ll go, but if this doesn’t work don’t make me say I told you so.” With that Tokeke when off after Zaku past the guards who didn’t really seem to care.
Zaku felt the presence of his roomate once more, he turned slightly to see him running behind him. He sighed and then stopped in one place. Freezing as he did so, he felt something over take him. Something that pained his heart, no maybe his soul, he felt this once before, back when he found out he was a wind user. Feeling the incredible pain, he feel to the ground, blanking out for a second, he swore he could see something other then the grass he fell on, a foot? he thought, but it vanished just as quickly as it came, feeling nasiouces he stood up half way stumbling, just in time for his roomate to be only a few few feet away.
ooc: Yes i’m incorpating things from my actually story (I’m taking advantage of the post and testing somethings out)
