OOC: Foreshadowing is when the auther puts something in that foretells an event likely to happen in the future. You said “Nothing bad ever happened in this area,” it leaves the reader thinking that something bad will happen there whether it be soon or later on in the story.
It rained hard when Archer woke from his short nap; not necessarily an uncommon event in the area. The storms come and go quickly, nothing to make a fuss over. He could see Odin standing outside practically dancing in the rain. She looked beautiful, it wasn’t every day you could see a dancing tree.
ooc: I guess your in a totally different area then I am and i know what foreshadowing is, I meant where it was, but you answered that as well lol.
Diamond felt a strange feeling trying to pull her to the front gate, but she had to continue to work she already made Tyler upset. But this strange feeling kept tugging at her and soon she finally gave him. She walked to the front gate where she saw a boy and his mother standing their. She seemed to be comforting him. Diamond sighed and walked over. “Hi, how may I help you?” —————————————————————————————————————
It took a while, but Ruby was able to persuade Diamond to head her direction. A lot of thinking and emotions went into it, but she finally made Diamond move. Ruby wagged her tail as the mother explained the situation and Diamond gave in, offering a tour with her as she cleaned the rest of the cages. Of course the boy screamed with happiness and the mother was grateful.
“Thank you” said the human guardian, ruby looked up to her, “Your more then welcome” she said wagging her tail, “Least I can do” she finished and ran up with Diamond. Ruby felt happy for once in her life, and she could feel Diamond just as happy as she was. This is a good place, nothing could go wrong here, nothing…
OOC: Yeah, he lives in the suburbs of town ^^ It rains there a lot.
Archer couldn’t make a decision, it would probably be best not to mess with such a high-powered man. But was it too late? He already meddled in his plans, so does that make him involved now? Either way, he didn’t want it to continue; peoples lives were at stake. It wouldn’t be right to just let that slide by and watch it happen.
It didn’t help that Kuji could probably see Guardians. He could just feel the strongest ones and demand that they be captured. This brought up another question: What technology could capture a Guardian like that? She claimed to have been capable of getting out whenever she wanted, but Archer wasn’t so sure about that.
Diamond actually enjoyed touring the mother and son around the zoo and the son especially enjoyed himself. As she finished up the last cage, she lead them back to the front entrance. “Come back anytime” Diamond said as she waved good-bye and then felt somebody walk up behind her. She quickly turned around “Tyler!” she said in a gasp.
“We are closed Diamond…why did you let them in?” he said angrily
“I…well…they…” Diamond sturdded she couldn’t figure out how to explain herself. She sighed, “I’m sorry”
“Aye…your such a pain, your late today and then you show some people around without paying! Go home Diamond and don’t come back, your fired” Tyler walked away after that. Diamond heart sank, depression took in, tears formed in her eyes. Now what am I suppose to do? Is don’t the right thing actually wrong… she thought to herself as she turned around tears rolling down her cheeks.

Ruby ironically talked with the human spirit pretty much the entire time, the ferret spirit however would randomly pop in and ask question, as young as he was he didn’t know the limits or abilites guardians had. Even so Ruby learned a few knew things, such as those humans who can see their guardians have a tendency to be very powerful, because they communicate well together, and the reason for all Ruby’s confusion was because her master was also in a state of confusion and that Ruby had to be stronger and not to give as easily, since guardian actually control the moods of their owners. But when Tyler instantly fired Diamond the spot Ruby was furious once more. His spirit however didn’t agree with Tyler’s decision, “Ruby” said the beaver spirit “I don’t know why he’s doing this, I’ll see if I can’t fix this ok?” he spoke calmly and slightly nervous, he probably felt her increase angry for him. Dammit! she thought as she turned around to catch up to Diamond And I thought this was a safe place to…
Archer went downstairs to eat something, how long had it been since he’d eaten a real meal? Since it was just past two, he decided eating could still technically be called lunch and made himself a sandwich. That girl from earlier randomly came to mind, it bugged him that she was so frightened. He figured she was nervous because of his random outburst at the spirit and then trying to go and speak with her. There had to be a reason for the spirit to bite him too right? Usually evil spirits would bite him out of jealousy, but that was completely different. Ignoring his thoughts on the girl, he turned his attention back to the problem at hand. Kuji definitely had to stop what he was doing, and he would start by making an “important business call.” It always helped to have friends, and luckily enough for him, a girl he knew in high school works for his company. After that he could make an appointment and start the conversation there.
Diamond drove unsteadly back home. How was she going to tell her mother about her being fired…“Father will kill me” She said softly to herself and closed her eyes as she was driving, but just as she suddenly did, she didn’t see the light turned yellow, but she suddenly heard someone yell, “Watch out!” Diamond quickly opened her eyes, saw the light was yellow and stopped just a few inches past the line. A car honked at her from behind, probably just as surprised at how hard she hit the brakes. As adrenline started to deplate itself from her body, she looked around Who said that? she thought but saw no way anybody could communicate to her.

Ruby was slightly distrubed by the fact that Tyler had fired Diamond for something so stupid. She was so unstastified however that she sat in the front seat, never did she do that. As Diamond continued to drive, Ruby looked in front of the car, hoping that Diamond would lower the windows so she could feel the wind in her fur, but when she noticed that the light turned Red and Diamond wasn’t slowing down, Ruby quickly screamed “Watch out!” letting all her emotions consume Diamond, as the way guardians did to make their humans notice something was wrong. Diamond quickly hit the brakes, making Ruby fly foreward and hit the plastic in front of her. She hit it so hard in fact that Ruby passed out in a blink of an eye, unaware if they lived or not.
Odin called to Archer from the front door, she wanted to have company in the rain today. Sad as it was, he hated rain; though it was her second passion. Not wanting to make her sad, he took off his shirt and boots to walk around half naked. If he was going to get wet, he might as well enjoy the feeling of it. Plus, it could take his mind off of things. Only five minutes after eating had he called his friend about the appointment with Kuji and she said that it would take two weeks at least which was actually pretty good considering.
Diamond arrived home around around 4 o’clock, she took the long route home to think about things, but after she almost had an accident she took the shorter route. She closed the door and could smell rain in the distant. “How perfect to end a day like this” she said as she sullenly walked into the big mansion called her home. She never yelled “I’m home!” nor did she ever hear someone welcomed her home, like how some of her friends were welcomed when they came into their homes. She missed that living style, she wished she had that life. Now the only that kept her going was taken from her, so went up the stairs and into her bed, but not deaf she could hear her father talking about some sort of business matter, after all her father dealt with many companies. She walked into her room, closing the door and crashing onto her bed, she was tired and exhausted from such a stressful, sad day.

Ruby quickly dashed out of the car, before Diamond had gotten out, she smelt rain in the distant, ignoring her feelings, so they wouldnt pass on to Diamond she ran inside to do her usually survey of the house. She had caught many of imps in her house before, but she never knew why. Especially since her father’s guardian was an evil one, Ruby assumed he would kill them, but then again, her father’s guardian was also Ruby’s father in a sense, and he also made Ruby do some unusually stuff.
As Ruby cleared the first floor, she ran upstairs, Diamond was halfway up the stairs when she darted up. Panting as she did she ran down the hallway past the meeting room, where she stopped short, when she heared the words of “murders”. Ruby stopped and peeked in, of course, the first thing Ruby saw was a little imp, she walked in through the time opening of the door and went into stalking mode. She didn’t even really take notice of the two other guardian standing near by, nor her father.
ooc: The reason why I said that Ruby’s father is Diamond father’s guardian is because, all spirits are born with their humans and which whoever take cares of the human obiviously the guardian takes care of the young guardian. And strangely enough spirits take on forums similar to their master parents guardians, and i can continue with how this can be affected, but I can assume you can figure that out right. =)
Archer stepped out into the rain and spun around once while looking up. It felt like he was being blessed by God with the rain drops dancing on his face in a flurry of clear colors. “Odin, this was the greatest idea ever! Thank you.” She smiled and continued her own standing dance that she always did. Thankfully no one was ever out during the rain and so they wouldn’t stare at Archer like he was crazy again. That happened a few too many times that day. “Hey Odin?” He began a new conversation. She looked to him, “Do you ever wish you had a friend other than me?”
Her smile faded, but not quickly, and she stared at the ground. “You’ve been my friend this whole time, why would I need another?”
“I want you to be happier. Even more than you are now, and I think a friend would do that for you.” Both of them knew that it wasn’t likely to happen, she was different from the other Guardians, and much stronger than most for Archer’s age group.
Smiling, she glanced back up at him and then to the sky, “We’ll see. But I’m more than content staying with you here right now.”
Diamond fell asleep in her bed as she thought about the day, and she dreamt of that werid man and his talk about guardians.

Ruby snuck behind the little imp who seemed to be more interested in something else, probably to cause some misfortune. As she got close enough she darted, with fangs wide open she snagged the imp by the shoulder and crunched down. The imp screamed, like they always did and tired to cast some petty spell on her. It didn’t work, maybe if she was younger it would have. She watched as the imp squrimed and then finally die. She dropped the body, and it vanished slowly.
“Ruby what are you doing?” said a familar voice, she quickly turned around to see her father, as she referred to him. “I was killing the imp that is what we do isn’t?” she said high strong. He was laying comfortable on the floor, he was a wolf just like her, but he much bigger, much stronger, and had a firey black fur. He was scarey to look at, but much of the evil spirit were like that. She was glad that he was on her side. Ruby took notice of the two other guardians, laying next to the master feet. Two evil spirits it seemed, a hyena and a coyote. It seemed that most evil spirits were carniviours.
“The imp was doing nothing wrong was he? Was he harming Diamond? No, I don’t think so, so you shouldn’t had bothered with it, plus if your kill one, might as well kill it quickly when it’s so weak like that” he said, with his normal authoritive response. Ruby tucked her tail and her ears flattened “Sorry father” she said. Evil spirits were like this, they never liked killing demons for some strange reason, that’s why you normally found a lot of demons around evil spirits, well a lot of imps at least.
“Well leave, their’s nothing here for you, and you should always been at your master side” he said once more as if she was a young pup once again.
“I know…”
“Then why aren’t you with here?” he said almost at a growl, he had attacked her several times for disobeying him, she took the warning and quickly exited the room by fading through the walls, but she heard one of the humans say, “Are you still going to continue business with us, even after hearing all we are trying to do?”
Archer laughed, “Let’s go play tree in the park, you like that game right?” Odin smiled and then they were off toward the nearest park to his house. They almost never played that game together and it made her happy when they did. Even if no one walked by, something about it thrilled her. Archer usually just laughed or made strange faces as people looked at him funny. When anyone was capable of seeing spirits they often asked what they were doing and how she was a tree. As if it were strange or something! The fact people could see Guardians in the first place was strange.
Ruby walked her way into Diamond’s room and jumped on the bed, she noticed she was sleeping, suddenly she heard tip taps at the window, she looked over their and saw rain falling. Already? she thought and then rounded herself in a small ball to fall asleep as well. Normally spirits don’t eat or sleep, but it doesn’t stop them from doing so.
After a few good laughs from the game Tree, the two waddled home content with life. It was definitely a pretty good day for Tree; a ton of people walked by and they all somehow managed to get a smile out of Odin. Perhaps it was because Archer didn’t exactly have a lot of clothes on, maybe it was the faces he made, but either way, she was very happy. That night when he slept, instead of playing tree in the other room to wait for his waking up, she watched him in his sleep.
Ruby was out cold, when suddenly she felt a tug at her neck pulling her down. She quickly got to her feet before landing head first on the floor. Taking her stance to see who did it, she saw her father standing their in all his glory. “Sleeping? Why?” he said. She relaxed and stared at him, tail tucked and ears lowered she looked out the window to see a hint of sun. “I…I was tired” Ruby said
“Tired? We don’t get tired” he said growling now. Ruby quickly lowered herself to the ground. “I’m sorry, It won’t happen again” she quickly said. He stopped and stood back in his regular position, staring at her, he was more wolf then she ever was.
“Did you hear anything about that meeting you so rudly came into yesterday?” he said, ruby perked up her ears, he never cared once about meetings she came into. “No…I was to much into hunting that imp” she said lying I’ve nevered lied to him once, one lie, he won’t catch it she thought to herself.
“Don’t lie to me” he quickly said. Ruby was shocked when she heard that
“Why…why would I lie to you?”
“It’s obivious your transforming into evil spirit” he simply said, Ruby heart plunged ‘Evil…but…i…” she couldn’t get a hold of that What happened to neutral stage?
“You didn’t notice? you passed the neutral stage days ago, your acting more and more like me” he said almost with a sense of pride.
“I’m not evil though!” she yelled
“Not your choice, now if I catch you lying to me, their will be consquence, so speak up now” Ruby looked the other way and then up at Diamond who was still asleep. She gave up, their was no point in arguing “I heard something along the lines of he was continuing with the business thats all” He looked at her, studied her and then turned around to walk off. “Good” he simply said and disappeared through the walls.
Ruby was sadden, and walked over to the window, something wasn’t right, why would he care what she heared? “Maybe…maybe I should find that guy again” she said to herself staring out into the dampen morning air.
“Gah!” was what came out of his mouth as he rolled onto the floor from fright. He was definitely not used to Odin staring down at him when he woke up. He laughed, “Sorry. What are you doing?” She didn’t reply, only smiled and walked off downstairs somewhere. He assumed that meant to follow her and so he did; nothing on except his boxers. When he got downstairs, there was no way not to smile. The test subject they’d been working on had finally worked! It was a dead plant they purposely left in the living room for her to “kiss” to practice bringing back dead plants. Apparently she finally figured out how to do it completely; no water needed. Archer ran over to Odin and gave her a huge hug and congratulatory responses, “I can’t believe you finally did it! This is amazing!”
