*Sigh* The aspect that appeals to adults is the character driven plots.

FACEPALM.
While I haven’t been here in a while, again I’ve watched an episode. I thought it was the same boring crap that has become so popular these days. And there’s a reason for that. You see, you can have a character driven plot that works amazingly. Batman:TAS had episodes driven mostly by just the villains and it could make me feel bad for these drawings that I knew weren’t real. It made me feel bad for criminals who were going out and endangering lives. I love that show for that reason and many more. Am I going to compare MLP to B:TAS? No. That would be impling that MLP could make characters interesting and complex. That would be impling that MLP can give me stories about these people. If I were to compare the episode of MLP to the show you already know I love it would be so unfair which is why I won’t. It would be so unfair because B:TAS is brilliant, and MLP is another fad about to outlive it’s time.
What I understand is that MLP isn’t interesting and the characters aren’t complex?
I do admit that it is bland. But then again - I am into action/adventure with great plots. MLP doesn’t have most that… Adventure, yes, but not the kind I consider entertainment.
