I just thought of this and heres the deal - You know how Inuyasha is, rude and stuff, so what if he was different? Here you can shape him the way you want.

I honestly disliked Kikyou in the original series and manga. But in the last mangas and in the Final Act, I think I came to sympathize with her. And watching the series again lately, I can tell that the dubs have really taken some of the original feeling that the characters have… In a way, I guess I’ve come to understand where she’s coming from.
I’d change plenty of Inuyasha’s traits… only to realize he’s good the way he is, because he is Inuyasha. : ) Hahaha’. That’s why I read fanfiction; all it is is fiction.
Hmn, maybe you just need to re-watch the first episodes. Those were actually the ones that made me re-think her situation and why she had reacted in the way she did. However, I’ve already watched and read all Inuyasha related things, but who knows! I do tend to often read too much into things that my little brain assumes that something is the way I think it is. Although to me her reasons for acting in the way she does at the beginning are legitimate based just on the sole fact that her “true love betrayed” her.
Psh’ woman! I bet Inuyasha is very real in us fangirl’s minds. : ) Do give him some credit for ‘living’ in there. XD But yeah, he is himself. There’s no way getting around that…. His way of being is partly what got me so interested and even obsessed with the anime series.
