So I know I’ve been posting like crazy lately, but this is what free time does to me.
Anyways! This is just a thread for you all to post your experiences as an International student/resident somewhere that isn’t your country. : ) Or perhaps just experiences you’ve had while visiting foreign countries. Post away any anecdotes or tips on how to get through living far away from home.
well, like.. i was in 6th grade and i almost went on this educational trip to england, france, greece, italy, and a few other places for the summer…
and, if i wasn’t going to be graduating early, i would have been going to England for a school trip…
Sadly, or perhaps not that sadly, I’ve always lived in the same place. Most I’ve ever gotten from moving, was from houses…. and only to live in the same ‘neighborhood.’ Thankfully, I’ll be moving to Canada in August for university.
That’s true. And in a way, that’s a reason why I loved this place so much. I got to meet people from all over the place that I would otherwise not have, and that was a good thing for me.
Yup! Canada. I wanted the experience of studying abroad, even if I had to be an international student. Either way, my choices for universities were in Canada and the US. So I would have been an international student either way. No way I was staying in my country (even if there’s good universities here).
hm..
sounds good enough to me lol
if me/my parents had the money, i wouldnt be going to college anywhere in North America
I’d be in.. i think it was Japan… i may be mistaken, but i also lost the website…. so…
I got a scholarship for NTHU in Taiwan. However, I’m going to Canada because I chickened out in the end. The idea of going that far was too much for me. Plus, I already know Vancouver..
You should transfer to Japan if that’s your thing. : )
