Sasori rushed into a brilliantly lit laboratory, where a man with orange hair sat in a large and rather comfortable looking chair. He was playing with his cellphone, the latest gadget on the market no doubt. Sasori knew that Koyuki-san changed phones as many times as he changes his clothes per day. He had a handsome, if not extremely beautiful face, and always wore a smirk of triumph.
She approached him, and plopped down on the large bureau which sat in front of him. “Playing with Chris-nii-san won’t be fun.” she said as the monitor lighted up beside her. “He’s a detective, I’m a hacker. Justice and crime can’t exist side by side. That’s a paradox.”
“But my dear Kida-kun,” Sunao Koyuki smiled. “the world is only a fabric of lies. Let us call things by their proper names, shall we?”
She raised one eyebrow at him. “You’re taunting nii-san again.” she stated bluntly, her fingers working rapidly on the keyboard. “How dreadful.”
“Morality is what we use with others that we immensely dislike Kida-kun.” her partner replied, eying the zeros and ones on her screen with the least bit of interest. “Besides, I am only giving him a clue, a catalyst if you will, to speed up this game of cat and mouse for Kira.”
