Well, obviously there are some differences when you compare the two, so which do you like better? Personally, I generally prefer the manga because it sticks to the storyline and doesn’t have so much filler. (Don’t get me wrong, though, the filler episodes you usually crack me up!)

I’ve never really read the manga, so I like the anime.
xD Although… it kinda jumps around a bit. Or at least it feels that way to me

Personally, I like both. The anime got me started, but the manga has its own special bits to it. I particularly like how Sesshomaru looks in the manga as compared to the anime, and how Kaede has better lines at times. I think each one has its ups and downs, and it depends what mode I’m in which one I like better. (Then again, I havent read the entire manga yet)

what I don’t get is how in around volume 6-8 after the part where Kagome, Miroku, Sango, and Shippo get shrunk into that box thing up in the mountains with the fat monk guy [I cant remember specific names and the manga I owned I gave to a friend before I moved from SC so..].  In the black and white manga Sango leaves to her hometown right after, but in the colored manga and the anime she leaves before that encounter…

why is that?

I like them both cause they have a great story all together but in the Inuyasha final act, it felt like they where rushing (i know that they had to but still) which made it look choppy to me. But in the manga they took there time and i liked that.

I’m generally a manga elitist because I’m just a jerk, lol!

But in all actuality, I read the manga for the story, and watch the anime for pretty moving pictures. That, and the voices that come from the talented voice actors.

i like both. but for me anime skips around to much. its confusing especially if you haven’t read the manga. so i personally like the manga better then the anime.

I never read the Inuyasha manga version because I’m so use to the anime. I read some, but it makes it more realistic to you when their trying to get a point across in the anime. I think the mangas & anime are both better. Inuyasha was one of the best workof art I’ve ever seen.Heck, I couldn’t even think of a brilliant story like that.

I like the Manga. Rumiko worked her magic and made every bit of enjoyable. The Anime is great, but the cartoonists didn’t stick to the story. Don’t get me wrong, only reason I got into the Inuyasha fandom was the anime itself. But the Manga is the original storyline and it wasnt/seemed rushed.

I’m not really a fan of it, but it’s good anyway.
